Is your sweetheart a great catch? Now you can propose to them with a diamond cut to look like a Poké Ball. The 143 facets on this 0.3 carat gem line up to showcase all the iconic details. Made by U-Treasure, the diamond will set you back $2,300. The company’s website also showcases a selection of Pokémon-themed engagement rings that include Pikachu, Eevee, Umbreon, Espeon, and Mew as part of the gold detailing. It’s the perfect accessory for anyone who’s gotta catch ‘em all.
We saw these eye-catching designs thanks to ComicBook. The Pokémon Company previously partnered with jewelry designer Ginza Tanaka on Pikachu-inspired engagement rings. But these are a step up, with even the diamond on theme.
There’s no shortage of ways to incorporate Pokémon into your life. Even your love life. Once your sweetie says yes, you can plan a Pokémon-themed wedding! Center pieces could include these $26,000 Pikachu crystal sculptures. Give out limited edition Mew Oreos as wedding favors!
The website doesn’t show the ring box, but we’re hoping it’s shaped like the ball too. Imagine getting down on one knee in front of your favorite fellow Pokémon fan with a Poké Ball that hold a ring with their favorite character on the band and a glinting diamond Poké Ball at its center. We definitely don’t recommend throwing this one!
Want to show your love for Pokémon but don’t have a rare card to auction off to cover the expenses of some of these more extravagant options? There’s always the themed Converse sneakers or these artistic keycaps.
Assuming this Poké Ball-shaped diamond is an ice stone, or one of the other evolution stones, what would happen if you gave it to a Pokémon?
