The two biggest and most popular Titans surely can’t stay dormant for long. Godzilla, the mighty lizard with atomic breath will clomp his way back to the movies soon. Along with him will be none other than Kong, the king of the hollow Earth. After 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong ended in something of a draw, a rematch of legendary proportions is very necessary. Luckily, a big screen follow-up is happening.
In a series of recently revealed images, we got a good look at the human characters that will appear in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Characters returning for the sequel movie include Rebecca Hall’s Dr. Ilene Andrews and Brian Tyree Henry’s Bernie Hayes. They are joined by a new character called Tracker, played by Dan Stevens. According to Total Film, Tracker is “a specialist in these creatures… If you’ve got a sick titan, Trap is your guy.” We can’t wait to see how Tracker figures into this extraordinary world.

Additionally, director Adam Wingard notes that fans will have a lot to look forward to in this latest MonsterVerse movie. He teases,
One of the incredible things about Godzilla is that the character has existed in so many different tones and interpretations in the Toho films. I’m a huge fan of the whole spectrum, and I’ve always really enjoyed the late-Shōwa era. There are so many big ideas and they have such epic fun with these larger-than-life characters. In Godzilla vs. Kong, we paid homage to that epic tradition, including a handful of Easter eggs for the hardcore fans, and while I don’t want to give anything away, we definitely work in a few things for the Toho fans in the new film as well, so keep your eyes open!
