Here’s the official synopsis of Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories—Codebreaker:

Poe Dameron is a confident, hotshot ace Resistance pilot. He and his outspoken droid companion, BB-8, have seen plenty of action against the First Order. Now, they are sent on a mission to investigate a piece of First Order tech used to decode Resistance messages, but standing between them and their objective is an infamous TIE fighter pilot. Can Poe out-fly his enemy, or will the mission go down in flames before it begins?

Can he?! Well, if he doesn’t get too caught up in his own excellence. Hopefully, BB-8 can keep him focused. But if anyone can out-fly the enemy, it’s Poe Dameron.

Dark Horse and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories—Codebreaker is written by Star Wars: Bounty Hunters writer Ethan Sacks, and joined by artists Marc Yarza (Werewolf Frankenstein), Jose Marzan Jr. (Y The Last Man), and colorist Nicola Righi (Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories), with letterer Comicraft. This mini-series will feature covers by Diego Galindo (Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons: The Rise of Hellfire), with issue #1 featuring variants by Pye Parr (PETROL HEAD) and Sean Gordon Murphy (Chrononauts). You can take a look at Sean Murphy’s variant cover for the first issue of Codebreaker, above. Once again, we’re getting action in full force.

Meanwhile, writer Sacks shares, “A decade ago, I sat in a Hollywood theater for the world premiere of ‘The Force Awakens’ as a reporter for the New York Daily News. I remember being as captivated by Oscar Isaac’s performance as Poe as I was of that charming, rolling astromech at his side. Little could I possibly have dreamed that I would get a chance to add to their stories as part of the 10-year anniversary celebration.”
