Prime Video knows what the people want—and that’s more of its hit series Fallout. Prime Video also knows what Fallout fans specifically want, and that’s more of our favorite duo, The Ghoul and Lucy. In this spirit, we have finally have our first real glimpse at Fallout season two in the form of seven new first-look images for the show’s second chapter. And in these first-look photos, we get to see all of our Fallout favs, of the past and present, heading down their season two paths. Are they about to find trouble? Friendship? Power? Only time will tell, but in the meanwhile, we’ll enjoy hunting for every clue and Easter egg we can spy in this sneak peek at Fallout season two. We’ll especially be pulling up this image of Lucy and The Ghoul, which specifically caught our eye. Can you say tension? We know the Ghoulcy people can.

In addition to these Fallout season two first-look photos, Prime Video has shared a short synopsis for the season, although not a full one yet. The streamer reveals, “The new season will pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.” We already knew that season two of Fallout would be heading to New Vegas—and although none of these new images reveal more about the location, we bet we’ll be seeing more of it very soon.
Interestingly, there will be no time skip in Fallout. Fallout season two will begin right after Fallout season one. In many ways, we prefer when the story just keeps unrolling, step by step. So we’re excited to jump right back into the world we left behind. As we see in the Fallout season two first-look images above, Lucy, The Ghoul, Maximus, Lucy’s brother Norm, and, of course, her sweetheart dad turned villain, Kyle McLachlan’s Hank MacLean, will all play a central role in what’s to come. And, just as in season one, the past storyline will be of equal importance in Fallout as the present.
Fallout season two premieres in December. The show stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets, Sweetpea), Aaron Moten (Emancipation, Father Stu), Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, The Righteous Gemstones), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), and Frances Turner (The Boys). Of course, the Prime Video series is an adaptation of the Fallout video games and serves as part of the franchise’s canon.
