Who doesn’t love a show about rich people being messy? In season two, Beef is ditching the parking lot for the multi-faceted world of the country club, where class dynamics, generational gaps, relationship struggles, and wealth convolutions await us. Netflix calls Beef season two “a high-stakes game of favors and coercion,” and you know what, we’re seated. Who doesn’t love seeing Oscar Isaac madly swinging a golf club around in a fit of passion? And the rest of the cast, Carey Mulligan, Cailee Spaeny, Charles Melton, Youn Yuh-jung, and Song Kang-ho, are also pretty much guaranteed to be incredible. Three couples, six chaos agents, one country club. Hopefully, Beef season two doesn’t end with a murder. We’ll have to wait and see. For now, enjoy Beef season two’s trailer below.
Beef Season 2’s Trailer Has Us Craving the Full Meal
We admit, the Beef season two trailer has us hooked. It’s just the kind of messiness we want to see. And we’re really curious to understand how the different generational understandings of relationships play out here… Especially since Netflix is underscoring them in Beef season two’s synopsis.
Here’s what Netflix has to say about the upcoming season: “BEEF returns with a new cast and a new “beef,” as a Gen-Z couple witnesses an alarming fight between their Millennial boss and his wife. Newly-engaged Ashley Miller (Cailee Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Charles Melton), both lower-level staff at a country club, become entangled in the unraveling marriage of their General Manager, Joshua Martín (Oscar Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín (Carey Mulligan). Through favors and coercion, both couples vie for the approval of the elitist club’s billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-jung), who struggles to manage her own scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang-ho).“
Frankly, this tale could go anywhere. But we hope it goes in a way that has us on the edge of our seats at all times. There’s nothing better than a show about scandal these days. And we’re ready for one more.
When Will Beef Season 2 Release?
