Critical Role Campaign 4 is officially into the thick of its campaign. The first four episodes served as an overture to set the scene for the rest of the campaign’s story and reveal to us a very important determination, who will sit in each of Critical Role‘s three sub-tables, the Soldiers, Seekers, and Schemers. You see, not every actor and character will be in every Critical Role Campaign 4 episode. That’s because Critical Role Campaign 4 is set to take on a West Marches-style of Dungeons and Dragons game, something that Critical Role has never done before. This means that there are too many player characters to all fit at the table at the same time; in this case 13 of them. Instead, the campaign will break up into sub-tables that each will tell its own specific story but will significantly impact one another. And we assume at times these tables will overlap during Critical Role Campaign 4. As mentioned, these three Critical Role Campaign 4 tables are the Soldiers, Seekers, and Schemers’ tables. Critical Role Campaign 4: The Soldiers’ Table, Explained
So, who is part of the Soldiers’ Table? Critical Role Campaign 4‘s Soldiers’ Table includes Teor Pridesire played by Travis Willingham, Thimble played by Laura Bailey, Kattigan Vale played by Robbie Daymond, Tyranny played by Whitney Moore, and Wicander (Wick) Halovar played by Sam Riegel.
The Soldiers’ Table is not necessarily made up entirely of Soldier characters (though there are quite a few). Instead, the moniker speaks more to the gameplay of this table, which will, in broad strokes, consist of many combat scenes and battles. Violence WILL be the answer.

Critical Role Campaign 4: The Seekers’ Table, Explained
Finally, we have the Seekers’ Table. Critical Role Campaign 4‘s Seekers’ Table is made up of Sir Julien Davinos played by Matt Mercer, Thaisha Lloy played by Aabria Iyengar, Occtis Tachonis played by Alex Ward, and Vaelus played by Ashley Johnson.
The Seekers’ Table will take us on a more traditional fantasy journey at its table. The Seekers are those interested in the larger questions of the world and in examining ideas of divinity, arcane powers, and magic through their game.

Critical Role Campaign 4: The Schemers’ Table, Explained
And that brings us to the Schemers. Critical Role Campaign 4‘s Schemers’ Table consists of Halandil Fang played by Liam O’Brien, Bolaire Lathalia played by Taliesin Jaffe, Azune Nayar played by Luis Carazo, and Murray Mag’nesson played by Marisha Ray.
As with the Soldiers’, being part of the Schemers’ Table doesn’t necessarily make its characters unsavory or sneaky (though some certainly are!). The Schemers’ Table more refers to the gameplay and story of this table being about spygames, interpersonal relationships, and machinations of power.

Critical Role Campaign 4 premieres Thursdays at 7 pm PT on Beacon.tv and is streamed to Critical Role’s YouTube and Twitch channels at that time, with the VOD available for everyone the following Monday and podcast episodes available in two parts: the first one week after the premiere, and the second on the following Tuesday.
