Celebrities like Lady Gaga, Trevor Noah, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan have already joined in on the momentous occasion, celebrating their favorites with one of our favorite ad spots from this year’s Super Bowl. Now, BoxLunch is getting in on the fun. The fandom retailer partners with Pokémon to launch some adorable, Poké-tastic clothes and accessories.

Celebrating 30 Years of Pokémon
Pokémon celebrates its 30th anniversary on February 27, 2026. And what a peak to celebrate. For decades, fans of the beloved franchise have popped on their trainer caps, assembled their teams, and battled against opponents. The star-studded Super Bowl commercial kickstarts a year-long campaign entitled, “What’s Your Favorite?” According to The Pokémon Company International, a new snapshot feature on the Pokémon GO app allows fans to share their favorite cuddly friends for a chance to be featured. Also part of the campaign are various fan-focused “Day In” and “Night Out” experiences. We don’t know specifically what that entails yet, but it sounds pretty awesome.
BoxLunch has had some pretty cool collaborations in the past (X-Men, Beetlejuice, Star Wars). The fandom-based retailer knocks it out of the park yet again. We love to see the Pokemon appreciation, especially as the brand comes up on three decades.
