There’s a certain tinge of nostalgia when it comes to Charlie Brown and the Peanuts. Every year the holiday season rolls around, so does A Charlie Brown Christmas or It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. And, c’mon, who doesn’t love Snoopy and Woodstock? Over the weekend, LEGO shared some pretty amazing sets at the New York Toy Fair. That includes a massive Star Wars Grogu and Mandalorian one, timed to the release of the upcoming movie. Joining it is maybe the cutest LEGO Snoopy you’ve ever seen. The scene places the iconic dog and Woodstock by Snoopy’s doghouse, toasting marshmallows and having a time.
The beloved beagle has stolen hearts for 75 years and counting. Now, fans have a new way to celebrate the character with this adorable LEGO set. Snoopy is perched atop the doghouse, while Woodstock hangs out below. An open campfire crackles nearby with toasted marshmallows resting on top. The set is 964 pieces and is available for pre-order now.
The Peanuts began as a daily comic strip published in seven newspapers. Created by Charles M. Schulz in 1950, the strip quickly snowballed into a global phenomenon, leaving an indelible mark on pop culture to this day. The Peanuts have since been turned into a cartoon series, movies, and beloved holiday shows and specials. With a worldwide brand comes a wave of consumer products—shirts, cups, backpacks, LEGO sets.
Snoopy is just one charismatic character of the long-standing franchise. We all know and love him. Canonically, the famous beagle loves to read and write. A fun detail of LEGO’s adorable Snoopy set is the inclusion of his typewriter, which sits beside him on top of the doghouse.
What a glorious way to celebrate 75 years of Charlie Brown’s lovable canine companion. The LEGO Peanuts: Snoopy’s Doghouse set is available for pre-order now until June 1. You can find it online at the LEGO website or in person at LEGO stores.
