Paris Hilton’s BATMAN RETURNS Catwoman Cosplay Is Purrfect

Celebrities love to show off their love of elaborate cosplay every year at Halloween time. We’ve seen some epic ones, like Megan Thee Stallion as DC Comics’ Starfire. Well, this year, another iconic DC character gets some love from a well-known celeb, as Paris Hilton shared several photos of herself as Catwoman. But not just any Catwoman, it’s Michelle Pfeiffer’s iconic portrayal of Selina Kyle from Tim Burton’s Batman Returns. This is a near-perfect recreation of Mary Vogt’s costume from Burton’s 1992 film. An outfit that Pfeiffer had to be stitched into every day of shooting. You can see the images right here:

Hilton posted the “Catwoman Returns” photos with the tagline “Nine lives, zero regrets.” She even lip syncs Michelle Pfeiffer’s famous line from the film, “I am Catwoman. Hear me roar.” In the background of many of her photos, where she brandishes Selina’s signature whip, we see the pink neon sign that reads “Hell Here.” Batman Returns fans will remember this from the scene where Selina Kyle snaps after her boss, Max Shreck (Christopher Walken), nearly murders her. She destroys her cutesy apartment, including her neon sign that says “Hello There.” Take out the “O” and the “T,” and it reflects her new reality as the glamorous antihero Catwoman.

Many actresses have played Catwoman over the decades, starting with Julie Newmar in Batman ’66. Following her in the role were Lee Meriwether and, eventually, the glorious Eartha Kitt. Other great portrayals of the character by celebrated performers, including Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway, and Zoe Kravitz, remain loved, too. But for many, the most iconic live-action Catwoman remains Michelle Pfeiffer. Although we never got that Batman Returns spin-off for Pfeiffer’s Catwoman, once proposed by Tim Burton, her version will continue to inspire sexy and empowering cosplay for years to come. Meow.
